Especially for greenhouses, OSRAM has developed a PLANTASTAR® high-pressure sodium lamp that meets the need of plants for a light source.Plant lighting cannot be compared, for example, with street or office lighting. Plants are demanding of the spectrum and their photosensitivity differs from human light perception. PLANTASTAR® meets all the requirements of an additional lighting source for plants.
Features:
• Low maintenance cost due to the small number of failures.
• Stable luminous flux for the first 10,000 hours. After that
time or every two years, replacement of the lamp is recommended.
• Rigid, high-tech lamp design reduces the impact of external factors and premature breakdowns.
• The absence of moving parts prevents the opening of the circuit inside the lamp as a result of electrical resonances.
